The various articles below are my attempt to document some of the history of my family.  A lot of this history is gathered from research done by Denis Savard, who has been diligently tracing the French origins of the Savard/Savart family for a number of years.  Denis is researching the church documents and notorial acts, written in Latin, dating back to the sixteenth century and beyond.  Since his website is entirely in French, these articles will give our French-challenged cousins a thumbnail sketch of the wealth of information available on Denis' site ( http://savart.info  ).
